About Ariel

Ariel was born in Beijing, where she spent her early childhood before her family moved to Florida, where she completed high school. Growing up between Chinese and American cultures shaped the way she communicates, collaborates, and adapts to new environments — skills she now speaks Chinese and English fluently, with beginner-level Spanish.

It was in Florida that Ariel began training seriously in golf. Her dedication to the sport led to a full athletic scholarship to the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where she competed as a varsity student-athlete for four years. Balancing the demands of competitive athletics with a rigorous academic program taught her discipline, time management, and the ability to perform under pressure — qualities that carry directly into her professional life.

At SCAD, Ariel studied Interior Design with a minor in Business, graduating in 2025. Her design education gave her a strong foundation in creative problem-solving, spatial thinking, and client-focused project work, while her business minor introduced her to the strategic and analytical side of the industry.

That interest in the business side of design led Ariel to pursue graduate studies at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA), where she is currently focused on finance. Rather than viewing design and finance as separate paths, Ariel sees her graduate studies as a natural extension of the analytical and strategic thinking she developed during her undergraduate years — now applied to a broader set of business and financial challenges.

Today, Ariel brings together a unique combination of creative training, business fundamentals, financial analysis, competitive athletics, and multicultural experience. She is looking for opportunities where that combination can add real value — whether in design, finance, or the space in between.
